Full Journal pdf2001-05-08 House Journal Page 1717 SB 152 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the May 7, 2001, calendar (page 1635), was read the third time: HOUSE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 152(FIN) "An Act relating to the handling of and interest on contract controversies involving the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities or state agencies to whom the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities delegates the responsibility for handling the controversies." Representative McGuire moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS SB 152(FIN) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. 2001-05-08 House Journal Page 1718 Representative Williams objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative McGuire: Page 2, line 13, following "AS 36.30.620(b)": Insert ", except that a contractor may increase the contractor's calculation of damages if the increase arises out of the same operative facts on which the original claim was based" Representative McGuire moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall HCS SB 152(FIN) am H pass the House?"
